Discover the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, a fascinating and significant site that offers a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s war history. Located 140 km from Phu My Port, this excursion takes you through the underground labyrinth that played a crucial role during the Vietnam War.

Tour Itinerary:

1. Pickup at Phu My Port:

• We’ll meet you at Phu My Port outside the main gate with a sign featuring your name. From here, we will embark on a 2.5-hour drive to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels.

2. Arrival at Cu Chi Tunnels:

• Upon arrival, you will begin your journey through the Cu Chi Tunnel System, which was originally dug in 1948 by the Viet Minh to assist in the fight against French colonial forces. During the Vietnam War, the tunnels served as a strategic underground hideout, stretching over 250 km and housing up to 10,000 people who lived, worked, and fought underground.

3. Explore the Tunnels:

• Your guide will take you through one of the open sections of the tunnels, showing you various rooms, such as:

  • Headquarters offices

  • Meeting rooms

  • Cinemas

  • Kitchens

  • Weapon factories

  • Storage areas

  • Hospitals

• Hear about the ingenuity and resilience of the people who lived here during the war, with stories of survival in the face of intense adversity.

4. Shooting Experience (Optional):

• After exploring the tunnels, you can take part in an optional shooting activity at a local firing range (at your own cost). Test your aim with real guns like:

  • AK-47

  • M16

  • Machine Guns

• Please note, the cost of bullets for shooting is not included in the tour price, and you can choose to participate based on your interest.

5. Lunch (At Own Cost):

• After exploring the Cu Chi Tunnels, we’ll head to a local restaurant for lunch (at your own cost). Take this opportunity to try some traditional Vietnamese dishes and relax before the journey back.

6. Return to Phu My Port:

• After lunch, we’ll begin our return journey to Phu My Port. We will ensure you have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the drive back to your cruise ship.

7. Service Ends:

• We will drop you off at Phu My Port, where your Cu Chi Tunnels Shore Excursion concludes.
